About Kerala home design

The idea behind Kerala home design is to connect house designers/architects to common people without the need for a login or account. Browsing through our gallery is easy and hassle-free. Everyone can find their dream house according to their needs. We believe that when going through our house gallery, you will get lots of new ideas to build your dream house. 

We have archived all types of house designs, from traditional to contemporary, from single-storied to multi-storied, and from small budgets to super luxury. We have over 10,000 blog posts since our inception.

How and why we started Kerala Home design?

We started Kerala Home design when we were planning to build our home in 2009. We searched the internet for Kerala model house plans but at that time we only found a small collection of homes for reference. Thus, the promoters of this blog planned to start a Kerala home design gallery blog. Not only do we publish house elevations, but we also showcase Kerala interiors and some designers are ready to publish free floor plans. It is important to note that we are not involved in design or construction. We are simply showcasing the work that is sent to us by designers, architects, builders, and individuals. We do not personally know any designers and we do not act as third parties.

When choosing a designer to build your elevation/home, we recommend that you ask them to give details of some of their recent works and speak to their clients directly. This will give you a better understanding of the designer's capability and responsibility.
